Eli weighs 29 lbs and is 34" (both 90%)
We tested Eli's iron again, cuz it was low last time, but he was just recovering from the flu, so we were waiting to make ay plans for treating it. We are watching Eli's speech as well, since he doesn't have that many words yet, but that can be very common for a 2nd child because everyone is predicting his needs, especially Kiah.

He is getting some teeth. He has one molar all the way in, one that is half way in and one that is bulging and ready to break.
He loves to say the word "ball" and mimics us on a lot of other words. He might be saying "bottle" as well, but it sounds a LOT like ball, lol.
he loves to walk and run everywhere, but hates to hold hands, so it can be challenging at times, but we survive. Luckily, he likes to ride in the stroller as well.

Happy First birthday
Happy Birthday!
I think we may have to switch Eli to a pack n' play to sleep. He LOVES sticking his legs between the slats on his crib, and occasionally he gets stuck. We may try and net him in first. We will see. It is so funny, cuz you lay him down and almost immediately he turns himself and sticks a leg out. too funny.

Circles
Eli Just did the CUTEST thing. He came into the office where I am and started to turn in circles. He was laughing so hard the whole time. Then he would get dizzy and fall down. Kiah does it all the time, so I am sure he picked it up there. It was making ME laugh so hard. So cute. I was afraid to go get my video camera cuz I knew he would follow me and probably wouldn't do it again. He was a bit fussy so I put him down for a nap. I hope he does it when he wakes up so I can record it and show Chris.

Food
I have tried so many different baby foods with Eli, and he will have none of it. I think they are too bland for him. I thought maybe some of teh toddler table food would make the grade with him, nope! But he does like Chef Boyardee. Or however you spell it. I add a little extra fiber too it too. He downs apples like you wouldn't believe. He struggles with the peal, so I end up pealing it for him. But he will eat almost the entire apple. He loves oranges, but the citrus still upsets his tummy.
