What do you love about each person in our family?
Mommy: that she always gets time to do something fun for me.
Daddy: That he shows me things on the computer. One time he showed me a bunch of plants that weren't real. They looked so real and they weren't. It looked like I could just reach out and touch them.
Kiah: She sometimes gives Paxton to me to play with
Annalise: that she's funny. And when I mean funny, I mean, really, really, really funny.
Paxton: That he makes lots of kinds of noises.


What are some of your wishes for this year? That I have a new bike and my own scooter.

Kind

Eli has always had such a big heart.  He really cares about his sisters so much, too.  There have been so many times that he will share without even being asked to do so.

I remember a time when we were at a party and there was a pinata.  Eli made sure everyone got some candy.  He only ended-up with 2 pieces himself... and he was fine with that.

Today Kiah had a pizza party to go to.  He Primary Teachers were giving her class a pizza party for being reverent for certain length of time.  I think it was a month or two.  Anyway, I had to take Annalise and Eli with me to drop off Kiah.  Eli was pretty bummed he couldn't go.  So I decided to take him to get some ice cream.  We went to Sonic byour house.  After I passed out their Sundaes Eli asked about Kiah's.  I told him I didn't get Kiah a Sundae.... this was for us!  He was a bit sad that Kiah would not have one and wanted me to order one for her.  We talked about how it would melt, so he came up with another plan.  After we pick Kiah up we should take her to Sonic so she could get one.

Daddy

Luna: Do you want to be a daddy someday?
Eli: Yes
Luna: How many Babies are you going to have?
Eli: two
Luna: Boys or girls?
Eli: Boys
Luna: What are their names going to be?
Eli: One is Eli. The other is Rock, like Rock music!

Preschool

School has started!
Eli is in his last year of Preschool.  He will have preschool in the morning 4 days a week this year.  His bus picks him up at 7:30am.  It definitely gets our day going having him ready in the morning.

  The first day wasn't as smooth as I would have liked.  The plan was for Eli to be picked-up by his bus at 7:30 and then I would take Kiah to school at 8.  Well, somehow we missed Eli's bus.  The neighbor across the street was kind enough to let me know it had come and gone.... and give me some in sight into why we missed it.  It is a different driver, and different bus this year.  So the bus stopped in a different spot.  And the horn honk was barely a toot!  But I think we have that kink worked out now. 

So I was trying to snap pictures of Kiah so I could get Kiah to school and then take Eli to school, before the day was over for him!  He did ride the bus home that day.

Stye

Normally Anna is the one to get the Styes, but I guess Eli wanted to try it out.  As we were leaving Atlanta from our Christmas visit, I notice Eli's eye was a bit swollen and red.  I thought he must have bumped it and was starting to get a black eye, but by the next morning it was pretty obvious it was a sty.  It got so swollen!  Much more than any of Anna's ever do.  It finally ruptured after a few days and bled quite a bit.  Poor little dude!
