Eli turned 2 today. We can hardly believe it. He is getting so big and developing so much.
We are beginning to understand what he is saying, but it is still hard to figure out at times. Sometimes I am not sure if he is really saying something, or making noise that sounds like what I think he is saying. I need to make his appointment to see the doctor for his 2 year check-up. I am going to talk to the doctor about it.
I have him trained back down to only taking the binky while sleeping. This was the routine for quite some time, but after the tubes I couldn't pry his binky or "red" (his blanket) away from him for at least 2 weeks. Now if I try to offer them to him he runs away because it is time to get in his crib.
Big Boy bed is next on the list. Probably in about a week. (we have to wait for finals to be over)
He still has a very high pain threshold.
He is starting to really like going to preschool and they are introducing him to the idea of using the potty.
He wears 3T a lot of the time. Occasionally even 4T. He wears size 9 shoe, but they need to be a wide cut shoe (like crocs) or wide width.
He is getting very playful and even a bit funny. example here!
He is so kind to his sisters. I caught him this morning trying to feed Anna by retrieving her bottle and holding it for her so she could eat.
He loves climbing on top of anything (couch cushions, daddy's back) and bouncing up and down saying "yee-haw, yee-haw"
